Group View / Dashboard

After logging into the system, users with only the Instructor role are automatically taken to the Group View / Dashboard. All users can navigate to this screen by using the Home link.

Using the Grid View / Dashboard, instructors can select Groups they have already created from their pool of mapped students and enter observations about them individually or as a whole. Instructors can also use Assignments they have created to make observations for up to 6 academic standards at a time!

To select a group that has been created already, click the dropdown next to Groups. If no groups have been created, see our article here on how to create them.

Once a group is selected, a card for each student in the group is shown. If the student has a picture, it will show here or a default picture will be used.

To add an Observation for an individual student, click the three dots under their picture. Learn about adding observations here.

The Group View / Dashboard loads in the Grid View, but you can click the button below to change to a List View.

To select an assignment that has been created already, click the dropdown next to Assignments. If no assignments have been created, see our article here on how to create them.

Once an assignment is selected, the mastery status for the standards in the assignment will be shown in the student card above the student's picture. If the standard has been mastered (score of 4 or higher), there will be a checkmark. If the standard has been observed, but unmastered, there will be an "X". If the standard has not been observed, there will be a dash.
