Adding Users/Instructors (Admin)

If you have the role of POSIT Admin (School), you will have a button on the navigation bar that says Settings (Admin).
Click the Settings (Admin) button to show available Administrative tools and click Instructors (Add/Edit).

You will be taken to the Manage Users page. The Manage Users page allows you to create, delete, and edit the roles assigned to Instructors. NOTE: Each school has a limited number of Analytics licenses available. This example has 4 available. Click here to learn more about User/Instructor Roles.

Click the Add button to show a dialog window allowing you to enter instructor information.

When the dialog opens, enter the following instructor information:

  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Email Address

Select the roles that this instructor should have:

  • Instructor
  • Analytics
  • POSIT Admin (School)

NOTE: All instructors/users are given the Instructor role.

After entering all instructor details and selecting roles, click the Add button to save the new instructor. The instructor will receive a welcome email that contains a link to POSIT and a temporary password.
